Focus and Scope

Indonesian Red Crescent Humanitarian Journal (IRCHUM) focuses on humanitarian action and social-humanitarian activities.

The journal publishes original research articles, community service reports, case studies, conceptual papers, theoretical studies, and policy discussions related to disaster management, emergency response, volunteering, community empowerment, social programs, and humanitarian services.

Manuscripts in the fields of health, medicine, nursing, and midwifery are welcomed insofar as they are situated within humanitarian contexts, including disaster response, emergency care, community health, humanitarian medical services, public health outreach, and support for vulnerable communities.

Manuscripts that discuss health, medical, nursing, or other professional topics without a clear relationship to humanitarian, community, emergency, disaster, vulnerable-population, or social-humanitarian contexts may be considered outside the journal's Focus and Scope.
