    The Indonesian Red Crescent Humanitarian Journal (IRCHum) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by the Indonesian Red Crescent Society. The journal has been accredited at SINTA 4 based on the Decree of the Director General of Research and Development No. 156/C/C3/KPT/2026. IRCHum is dedicated to publishing scholarly articles in the field of humanitarian and social studies.

    Scope of the Journal:

    Disaster management, health, medicine, nursing, midwifery, volunteering, community empowerment, and humanitarian social programs.

    Language:

    Manuscripts may be submitted in Bahasa Indonesia or English.
    Abstract and keywords must be provided in English.

    Article Processing Charge (APC):

    Starting from Volume 5 Number 1 (June 2026), an Article Processing Charge (APC) of IDR 500,000 applies.
    The APC is only charged for manuscripts that have been accepted for publication.

  • Implementation of Article Processing Charge (APC)

    The Editorial Team of the Indonesian Red Crescent Humanitarian Journal hereby announces that, pursuant to the Decree of the Director General of Research and Development No. 156/C/C3/KPT/2026, the journal has been officially accredited at Rank 4 for the period from Volume 2, Number 1, 2023 through Volume 6, Number 2, 2027.

    In line with this accreditation and in order to ensure the sustainability and quality enhancement of the journal’s publication process, the journal shall implement an Article Processing Charge (APC) commencing from Volume 5, Number 1 (June 2026). Authors of accepted manuscripts shall be required to pay an APC of IDR 500,000 per article.

    This policy shall apply to all manuscripts that have been submitted and are scheduled for publication in Volume 5, Number 1 (June 2026). Authors who have previously submitted their manuscripts may be requested to reconfirm their willingness to proceed with the publication process under this policy.

    Further instructions regarding confirmation will be communicated directly to the respective authors.

    It is hereby noted that the journal previously did not impose any publication fees. The implementation of the APC is intended to support editorial and publishing operations while maintaining the journal’s standards in peer review, editing, and dissemination.

    This decision is final and binding upon all submitting authors.

  • Research Paper invitation

    The Editorial Team of the Indonesian Red Crescent Humanitarian Journal (IRCHum) published by the Indonesian Red Crescent (BSMI), invites Palestinian citizens from all around the world working as researchers, lecturers, and students, to send manuscripts with the theme of Genocide in Gaza in various scientific perspectives (health, social, education,  ecomomic, enviromment, women and children, ai etc) to be published in our journal.

    The selected research paper will be published and will be rewarded a monetary incentive of 100 USD. 

    Manuscripts must comply with the Author Guidelines that can be accessed in https://jurnal.bsmi.or.id/index.php/irchum/guidelines. 

    The peer review process will continue to run in accordance with the provisions applicable in our journal. Manuscripts that comply with the Author Guidelines can be sent via the Open Journal System https://jurnal.bsmi.or.id/index.php/irchum.
